Privacy notice

AutomationFlex builds and operates the instant roof pricing widget that appears on roofing contractors' websites. This notice covers what that widget collects and what we do with it. If you are a homeowner who used the widget, the contractor whose website you were on is the business you are contacting, and we run the tool on their behalf.

What we collect

When a homeowner uses the widget, we collect only what the quote needs:

• The property address entered, and the roof measurements derived from it — size, pitch and number of faces.
• First name, mobile number and email address, at the point the homeowner chooses to see a price.
• Whether the job is storm or insurance related, and any inspection time booked.
• A record that consent was given, with the wording shown and the time it was given.

We do not ask for payment details, dates of birth, or any special category data. There is no advertising tracking on the widget: no tracking pixels and no third-party analytics.

Why we have it, and who sees it

The homeowner asks a roofing contractor for a price, so the enquiry goes to that contractor. That is the purpose and it is the only one. We do not sell enquiry data, share it with other contractors, or add anyone to a marketing list.

Emails the widget sends

Exactly two, both triggered by the homeowner submitting the form:

• A lead alert to the contractor, with the enquiry details.
• A copy of their own quote to the homeowner who requested it.

Neither is marketing, and there is no mailing list behind them. If you received one you did not expect, tell us and we will find out why and remove the record.

Services we rely on

• Google Maps and Solar — address lookup, aerial imagery and roof measurement.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — blocking automated abuse of the address form.
• Vercel — hosting.
• NoCodeBackend — the database the enquiry is stored in.
• Emailit — delivery of the two emails above.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while they are useful to the contractor for the job in question, and then deleted. Roof measurements for an address are cached for a period so that asking twice does not re-measure the same roof; that cache holds the measurement, not the person.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to hello@automationflex.com and it will be dealt with. If you asked a contractor for a quote and simply want them to stop contacting you, tell us that and we will remove the enquiry.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
